Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Fisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenikonu Palowunu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisk comes to the cage accompanied by A Perfect Circle - Imagine. Lenikonu Palowunu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Palowunu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Palowunu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Palowunu swings for the body but Fisk moves out of range.

Palowunu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fisk on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fisk tries to get out of the position.

Palowunu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Palowunu is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Fisk has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Fisk rolls, trying to escape but Palowunu keeps control of the position.
Well, with Palowunu on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Fisk is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Palowunu is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Fisk is defending well though. Palowunu let's go of the attempt for now.

Palowunu has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fisk has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Fisk wants to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Palowunu is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Palowunu extends the arm and Fisk is forced to tap!
