Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deiber Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurono Keei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Deiber Vega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurono Keei! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Keei lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vega doesn't seem phased though. Vega misses with a two punch combination.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Keei checks a leg kick. A punch combination from Vega misses. Vega misses with a few strikes there.
Vega is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. A short right from Keei. Vega manages to pull guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Keei wants to control from the top but Vega keeps moving. Keei gets to his feet - Vega follows without any prompting. Keei closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vega did well to prevent Keei getting side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Keei not doing much here.
Vega misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vega is looking to control Keei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vega avoid being mounted? Keei wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vega keeps working. Vega is trying to stand.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Vega has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Keei is working away from the top position though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Vega lands a high kick!
It looks like Kurono Keei has been cut. Vega throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Keei pushes Vega up against the cage in a clinch. Keei gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vega.
Vega is breathing heavily. Vega is trying to break free. Keei decides to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Keei is on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Vega is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Keei is controlling him. Keei gets to his feet. Vega looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Keei wants to clinch up but Vega keeps it at a distance. Keei has Vega up against the cage in a clinch.
Keei's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Keei has managed to clinch.
Keei drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vega pulls his leg out and moves away.
Keei scores with a one two! Vega had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Keei lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Keei.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keei instigates a clinch. Vega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Keei breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Vega throws a leg kick but Keei sees it coming and checks it nicely. Keei checks a low kick from Vega. Vega throws a low kick but Keei avoids it. Keei stuffs the takedown. Keei moves into the clinch successfully.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deiber Vega. That's going to take a lot out of him. Keei has Vega pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vega manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Keei breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vega throws a right and a left that both miss. Vega tests Keei's chin there with a solid looking shot. Keei darts in and clinches Vega up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keei changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vega fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Vega looks to land a combination but Keei avoids it well. Keei moves into range and clinches up with Vega. Keei holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vega is trying to break the clinch but Keei has him pressed against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vega tries to break free but Keei pushes him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Vega's face as he tries to break the clinch. Vega is trying to break the clinch but Keei is controlling him. Keei keeps control of Vega as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurono Keei dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kurono Keei's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vega throws a sloppy head kick and Keei counters with a single leg into guard. Vega didn't expect that. Keei with a nice head shot there. Keei gets to his feet. Vega looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vega looks to score with a jab to the body but Keei is just out of range. Keei has a takedown stuffed. Vega rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Keei moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vega finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Vega is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Keei's half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Keei looks like he's trying to stand up.

Vega decides to stand and escape the position. Keei displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vega. Vega tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vega moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Keei connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Vega tries to clinch but Keei moves out of range. Vega has a takedown stuffed. Keei avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Keei scores a takedown into full mount! Keei trying to control but he's not successful this time. Vega wants to control but Keei is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vega is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Keei is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Keei controlling the position easily from mount. Kurono Keei has got the better of the ground game so far. Vega wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vega wants to hold on but Keei pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Keei shoots in and drives through. Vega sprawls well. Vega tries to bum rush Keei with a series of wild strikes but Keei uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vega misses with a body kick. Vega is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Keei checks a leg kick nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vega changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Keei tries to avoid it but Vega manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Keei to the ground. Keei escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deiber Vega. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vega swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice takedown defense from Vega. No joy for Keei on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kurono Keei will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Kurono Keei's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Vega looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vega fails with a takedown attempt. Keei keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vega. Vega shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Keei defends it nicely. Excellent takedown into side control there by Keei. Vega gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Keei controlling his opponent. Vega is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Keei trying to control but he's not successful this time. Vega tries to buck Keei off but he can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keei tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Vega wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kurono Keei. Keei tries to clinch up. Vega lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Keei checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Vega fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deiber Vega. That's going to take a lot out of him. Keei has closed the distance and engaged Vega in a clinch.

Vega throws a right and a left that Keei avoids nicely. Keei tries to clinch up. Keei fails to land the takedown. Deiber Vega is winning the standup battle so far. Keei swats away the attempt to clinch by Vega. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vega lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
And that's the end of the fight! Kurono Keei comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Keei winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
