Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between LHYOTO MACHIDA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natsu Dragneel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragneel misses the shot to the body.
Dragneel fakes the leg kick and cracks MACHIDA in the body.
Dragneel wants to clinch up but MACHIDA keeps it at a distance.

Dragneel shoots in but MACHIDA avoids the takedown attempt easily.
MACHIDA has a takedown stuffed.
Nice defenses there by MACHIDA.
MACHIDA shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dragneel as he jumps to the side.

MACHIDA throws a hook to the side of Dragneel's head but Dragneel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

MACHIDA shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dragneel as he jumps to the side.
MACHIDA decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dragneel tries to get to full guard but MACHIDA has control of the leg.
Dragneel wants to control but MACHIDA is keeping busy and won't allow it.
MACHIDA tries to stand and escape but Dragneel is controlling the position.
Dragneel is pressing down on MACHIDA's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
MACHIDA passes into half guard.
Dragneel is not content to let MACHIDA control the position.

MACHIDA is breathing heavily.

Dragneel can't keep his opponent in guard - MACHIDA advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dragneel is refusing to be controlled, as MACHIDA sits in half guard.
MACHIDA tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dragneel knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
MACHIDA is looking to stall here but Dragneel recovers full guard.
MACHIDA is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dragneel looking for a sweep. Not yet Dragneel, not yet.

Dragneel trying to keep a closed guard but MACHIDA is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

so Dragneel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dragneel gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
MACHIDA shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
MACHIDA goes for an armbar but Dragneel turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dragneel.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MACHIDA can't keep his opponent in guard - Dragneel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
MACHIDA manages to get to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

MACHIDA looking for a triangle here. Dragneel is fighting it but it looks tight! MACHIDA pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Dragneel is tapping out - this one is all over!
