A fine choice. Khalid Abu Jafar has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Khalid Abu Jafar ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Chalk! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chalk tries to clinch up. Chalk is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Abu Jafar .
It looks like Jack Chalk has been cut. The crowd cheers as Abu Jafar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chalk doesn't seem phased though. Abu Jafar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Abu Jafar rushes Chalk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Abu Jafar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abu Jafar forces Chalk back against the cage and clinches. Chalk is trying to force a seperation but Abu Jafar has the dominant position. Chalk throws a punch but it's blocked by Abu Jafar . Chalk wants to take the fight to the mat but Abu Jafar manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. A knee to the head by Abu Jafar .
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chalk wants to break free but Abu Jafar has control.
Abu Jafar throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chalk blocks it with crossed arms. Abu Jafar blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Abu Jafar throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chalk throws a series of punches but Abu Jafar avoids them all with ease. Abu Jafar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Abu Jafar keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chalk's efforts to push away. Abu Jafar looking to throw knees to the head but Chalk is blocking nicely.

Chalk is trying to push Abu Jafar away but Abu Jafar has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Abu Jafar misses with a knee to the head. Abu Jafar stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

A frustrated look appears on Chalk's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chalk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A nice combination there by Abu Jafar .
Chalk on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chalk will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Abu Jafar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nice body kick from Abu Jafar . Chalk looks gassed! Horrible takedown by Chalk or perhaps it was just good defense by Abu Jafar which made him look bad. Abu Jafar lands a high kick!
Chalk is rocked! Abu Jafar has Chalk up against the cage in a clinch.
Chalk is still on wobbly legs! Can Abu Jafar finish him? Abu Jafar manages to break the clinch.
Chalk seems to have recovered his senses. Chalk throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Abu Jafar counters with a nice leg kick. Abu Jafar lands a front kick. Abu Jafar has Chalk up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Abu Jafar throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Chalk's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Abu Jafar dives in looking to finish as Chalk flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Abu Jafar 's strikes! Abu Jafar is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Chalk's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Chalk was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khalid Abu Jafar ! Khalid Abu Jafar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
