The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalk tries to clinch up.
Chalk is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Abu Jafar .
It looks like Jack Chalk has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Abu Jafar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chalk doesn't seem phased though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chalk will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Abu Jafar throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Chalk's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Abu Jafar dives in looking to finish as Chalk flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Abu Jafar 's strikes! Abu Jafar is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Chalk's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Chalk was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khalid Abu Jafar !
Khalid Abu Jafar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
