Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. Papers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Papers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Smith closes the distance and pushes Papers back into the cage.
Smith drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Papers gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Papers stands up over Smith, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Papers throws a strike but Smith rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Smith wants to control from the top but Papers keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Papers can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Smith wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Papers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.

Papers distracts Smith with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Papers chips away with some ground and pound.
Papers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Smith's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Papers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Papers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith is rocked!
Papers gets to his feet and stands over Smith, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Smith felt that one! Papers unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Smith from any more punishment!
