Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Dale Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by The Village People - Macho Man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricky Dale Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar wants to clinch but Johnson slips to the side and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lesnar's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Johnson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lesnar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Johnson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lesnar's head. Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Johnson landing some decent shots from guard. Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson lands a couple of elbows. Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lesnar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lesnar will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Johnson connects with a couple of short punches. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Johnson is sitting in close to Lesnar's body. Lesnar has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Johnson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Johnson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lesnar.
