Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Demaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the ring accompanied by Black Belt Jones Theme Song, you Jive Turkey!. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demaine takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Dwight Demaine has been cut.
Demaine throws a lazy right hand but Kelly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Demaine's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kelly under the eye.
Demaine pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Demaine wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kelly on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Demaine misses with a left hand
and Kelly counters with a series of strikes. Demaine will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Demaine.
Kelly digs a good body shot into Demaine's ribs.
Demaine looks gassed!
Kelly throws a shot to the body.
Kelly connects with a solid leg kick.
Kelly scoring well with a low kick there.

Kelly lands a big head kick that sends Demaine tumbling to the mat! Kelly takes a step backwards and waves Demaine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Demaine is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Kelly moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Demaine! Kelly continues to tee off on Demaine, landing with a left and a right! Kelly connects with a right hand that leaves Demaine sleeping against the ropes! What a finish by Kelly!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jim Kelly!
