Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thor Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Omega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega takes a kick to the side of the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Omega.
A head kick misses from Omega.
Hammer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Omega manages to avoid it.
Hammer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Omega.

Hammer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Omega to the mat! Omega manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Omega lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hammer!

Omega gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Omega ducks right into an uppercut from Hammer.

Hammer throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Omega escapes and throws Hammer's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Hammer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

and Omega counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hammer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Omega misses with a low kick.
Omega moves out of range of the body kick.
Hammer lands a nice looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Omega with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hammer to score with a decent uppercut.

No joy there for Omega, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Black Hammer seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Omega takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Omega is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammer.

Hammer rushes Omega and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Omega is looking to control Hammer's arms but Hammer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Omega has his back to the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hammer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hammer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Omega paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hammer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Omega doesn't seem bothered though.

Hammer wants to take the fight to the mat but Omega manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

and Hammer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hammer lands a nice shot that snaps Omega's head back.
Omega takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Omega on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Omega is looking to improve his position but Hammer isn't that keen on the idea.

Hammer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Omega kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Hammer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
