Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Walburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walburn comes into the arena with Flirting with Disaster blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Noah Walburn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Walker! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walburn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Walburn in his tracks. Walker clobbers Walburn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jay Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walburn defending well as Walker loads up on a big left hand. Crunch! Walburn slams his shin into Walker's torso. Walburn slips a straight right by Walker. Walburn tries to clinch up. A clash of legs there as Walker blocks the low kick. Some bone on bone action there as Walker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Walker lunges at Walburn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Walburn's hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker throws a lazy right hand but Walburn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Walker loads up on a big right hand but Walburn slips the punch. Walker stuffs the takedown attempt from Walburn. Walburn gets slowly back to his feet. Walker takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Jay Walker has been cut. Walburn dodges the punch combination from Walker.
Walburn staying out of range there. Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker lands with a thumping leg kick.
Walburn throws a low kick but Walker moves out of range easily. Walburn throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Walburn! Walker is out on his feet! Walburn rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Walker is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Walker is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Walburn! After the fight, Noah Walburn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
