Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ara Vahaber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flako Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vahaber might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dr.Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Still Dre. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Pull Me Under - Dream Theater. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Vahaber tries a head kick but it misses.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Vahaber.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Vahaber.
Vahaber tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
Vahaber throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie throws a series of strikes that have Vahaber backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vahaber manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vahaber swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie throws a big right hand that misses.

Vahaber has his foot on Gracie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gracie works his way back into a safe position though.

Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vahaber works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vahaber is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up.
Vahaber has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vahaber wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
Vahaber throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vahaber doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is nestled in close to Vahaber, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Vahaber is having none of it.
