Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Razor Ramone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grandmaster Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grandmaster Red has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Razor Ramone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grandmaster Red!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ramone missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Red is doing well to control the position and prevent Ramone from advancing to side control.
Still in half guard, Ramone seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ramone is pressing down on Red's thigh, looking to free his foot. Red is holding on for now.
Ramone wants to stand but Red has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Red has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ramone is working away from the top position though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Red can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ramone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Red is trying to defend but Ramone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Grandmaster Red hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ramone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Red pinned against the cage. Red gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Red takes a swing at Ramone's ribcage but misses.
Red lands a nice hook to Ramone's body. Ramone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Red throws the left hand but Ramone avoids the punch easily.

Ramone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ramone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ramone shoots for a takedown but Red saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grandmaster Red is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A jab from Red finds it's way through Ramone's defenses.

Red tries to bum rush Ramone with a series of wild strikes but Ramone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Razor Ramone will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A left and a right from Red both land. Nice combination.
Red tries to sprawl but Ramone drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Ramone is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Red uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Ramone throws a leg kick but Red moved away.
No joy there for Red, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Red paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Ramone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ramone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ramone walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Red leaves Ramone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ramone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Red throws a right and a left that Ramone avoids nicely.

Red throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramone on the side of the head.

Red throws a hook to the side of Ramone's head but Ramone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Razor Ramone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grandmaster Red has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ramone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Red might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Ramone has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ramone there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ramone wants to clinch but Red slips to the side
and Red counters with a nice uppercut.
Red stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramone. Ramone gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ramone shoots in looking for a takedown but Red manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ramone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Red connects with a superb combination that knocks Ramone out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Red before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Ramone!
