Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Mitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitas's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Motorhead - Iron Fist. Nick Diaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitas clinches. Diaz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mitas is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Diaz to the mat. Diaz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mitas tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard. Diaz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mitas defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mitas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mitas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. and Mitas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Diaz's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mitas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mitas trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom. Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mitas trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mitas is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Diaz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mitas is looking to defend but Diaz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mitas! Diaz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mitas taps out and this one is all over!
