Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm MacKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Malcolm MacKay!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bot drives through with a takedown into MacKay's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bot looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
MacKay keeping full guard, as Bot tries to pass.
Bot is fighting to break MacKay's control of his arms but MacKay is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
MacKay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

MacKay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
MacKay is trying to control the position but Bot postures up.
Bot throws a big right hand that misses.
Bot tries to free his leg and advance position but MacKay is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

MacKay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bot but Bot pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bot wants it to stay on the feet.

and Bot counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for MacKay!
MacKay wants to control but Bot is having none of it.
The referee warns MacKay that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bot connects with a nice short shot to MacKay's temple.

Bot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MacKay on the ground.
Bot keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
MacKay wants to control but Bot is keeping busy.

MacKay looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Bot thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing MacKay to regain full guard.
MacKay has momentary wrist control but Bot slips an elbow through the middle.
MacKay not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
MacKay pulls Bot in close to his closed guard and prevents Bot from doing any damage or advancing position.

Bot stuffs the takedown attempt from MacKay. MacKay gets slowly back to his feet.
Bot is trying hard to land a takedown here. MacKay sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bot shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Bot. That's going to take a lot out of him.

MacKay scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
MacKay moves nicely into side control.
Bot tries to bench press MacKay off him but MacKay keeps the position.
Rob Bot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bot is not content to let MacKay control the position.

MacKay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bot on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bot tries to get out of the position.

MacKay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bot is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

MacKay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bot is trying to control MacKay's posture but MacKay avoids it.
MacKay is looking to take a break and control but Bot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bot tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but MacKay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
MacKay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bot keeps working.

Bot gets full guard.
Bot manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. MacKay manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Malcolm MacKay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bot is on top in guard.

MacKay has his foot on Bot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bot works his way back into a safe position though.

MacKay controls Bot momentarily but Bot frees himself.

Bot can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as MacKay controls the pace.
MacKay distracts Bot with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
MacKay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bot swivels though and keeps the full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

MacKay slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Malcolm MacKay has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bot wants it to stay on the feet.

Bot fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. MacKay sprawls well initially but Bot persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
MacKay is looking to improve his position.
MacKay moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Bot is looking to work some ground and pound but MacKay has wrist control.

MacKay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
MacKay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

MacKay wants to stand but Bot is controlling the position.

Bot looking to sit in guard and control but MacKay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Malcolm MacKay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well MacKay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
