Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dire Strait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Kaplon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dire Strait! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michal Kaplon! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strait avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kaplon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Strait sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaplon somewhat. Kaplon throws a chopping leg kick but Strait manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Nice uppercut lands for Strait. That snapped Kaplon's head back.
Kaplon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kaplon lands in his opponent's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Strait is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Strait looking for a sweep. Not yet Strait, not yet. Kaplon controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaplon preventing the sweep. Strait has a closed guard, preventing Kaplon from standing up. Kaplon trying to control the position from guard on top but Strait is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michal Kaplon wasn't active enough on the ground. Strait shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are battling for position here. Kaplon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaplon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kaplon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Strait is aware though and is defending well. Strait avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kaplon controls Strait momentarily but Strait frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strait trying to control but Kaplon is working from the bottom. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Straitis looking to pass into half guard but Kaplon pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kaplon is in guard. Strait knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaplon on the ground. Kaplon throwing strikes but missing. Strait wants to sweep here but Kaplon controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaplon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kaplon won't allow Strait to sweep him here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Strait holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dire Strait just wasn't active enough. Strait throws a solid leg kick but Kaplon takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Strait. Strait misses with a jab to the body
and Kaplon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kaplon stalling. Kaplon seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaplon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strait is just riding it out for now. Kaplon eventually gives up the hold. Strait moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Strait tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kaplon tries to close the distance and clinch but Strait swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Strait decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Strait is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Michal Kaplon has got the better of the ground game so far. Strait prevents Kaplon from getting the reversal. Strait connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Kaplon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Strait throws a strike but Kaplon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Strait keeping moving, preventing Kaplon from controlling successfully.

Kaplon keeping moving, preventing Strait from controlling successfully. Kaplon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Strait pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kaplon is keeping the position for now. Kaplon keeping moving, preventing Strait from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dire Strait dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Strait looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kaplon puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Strait is trying to maintain the position but Kaplon is very close to passing his half guard. Kaplon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Strait keeps working. Kaplon is taking a breather. Strait says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michal Kaplon. Kaplon ducks under a wild hook from Strait. Michal Kaplon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strait shoots in and drives through. Kaplon sprawls well. Strait tries to keep at a distance but Kaplon has taken the fight into the clinch. Strait stops a takedown attempt from Kaplon.

Kaplon wants to stand and escape but Strait is having none of it. Kaplon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Strait works over Kaplon with some ground and pound from guard.

Strait distracts Kaplon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kaplon is looking to stand up but Strait isn't so interested in that idea. Kaplon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Strait looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kaplon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Strait is aware though and is defending well. Strait has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strait slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Strait is chipping away with strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaplon seems a little lost for a moment, as Strait dominates the positioning. Strait cracks Kaplon with an elbow. That is naaassty.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Dire Strait! A very excited looking Dire Strait rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
