Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nemanja Tancev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Wesker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tancev comes to the cage accompanied by Die!. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Wesker!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tancev tries to keep at a distance but Wesker has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wesker has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tancev uses from the top position.
Tancev thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wesker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tancev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wesker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Albert Wesker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Tancev misses with a takedown attempt - Wesker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Wesker gets control of Tancev's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wesker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tancev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tancev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tancev tries to free his leg and advance position but Wesker is retaining full guard.

Tancev drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wesker dives on top into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Albert Wesker wasn't active enough on the ground.
Wesker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tancev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Tancev tries to sprawl but Wesker drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Wesker seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Tancev tries to get to full guard but Wesker has control of the leg.
Tancev is trying is best to control the position here.
Wesker is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Tancev manages to get to full guard.
Tancev working for a triangle but Wesker defends it easily.

Tancev tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tancev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wesker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wesker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Wesker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wesker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tancev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wesker has managed to get both his arms back between Tancev's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nemanja Tancev will probably get the nod.

Wesker looks for the body kick but Tancev saw that one coming.

Wesker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Wesker duly obliges.
It looks like Nemanja Tancev has been cut.
Wesker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tancev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wesker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tancev is on top in guard.
