Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Dingo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Glenn Kenny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Dingo!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenny throws a body punch but Dingo moves out of range.
Kenny wants to clinch.
Matt Dingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dingo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kenny looks to land a combination but Dingo avoids it well.
Kenny has a takedown stuffed.
Kenny fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kenny throws a head kick but Dingo moves out of range.
Dingo clinches but Kenny breaks the clinch
and Kenny counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kenny darts in trying to clinch

and Dingo counters by clinching up.
Dingo is trying to break free.
Dingo wants to break free but Kenny has control.
Dingo blocks an elbow strike from Kenny.

Kenny breaks the clinch.

Dingo has managed to clinch.
Dingo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dingo wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kenny prevents Dingo from breaking the clinch.

Kenny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kenny doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dingo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glenn Kenny. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dingo stuffs the takedown attempt from Kenny. Kenny gets slowly back to his feet.
Dingo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dingo tries to land a leg kick but Kenny saw it coming and moves away.
Kenny fails to land with a series of punches.
Dingo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kenny backs up against the cage.

Dingo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kenny is breathing heavily.

Dingo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dingo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kenny!

Kenny keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kenny is squirming around, avoiding Dingo's attempts to control the action.

Dingo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Dingo closes the distance and clinches.

Dingo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dingo misses with a kick to the body

and Kenny counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dingo!
Kenny misses with a head shot.
Dingo wants to get back to his feet.
Dingo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kenny can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dingo is looking to escape.
Dingo gets back to half guard.

Dingo is trying is best to control the position here.
Kenny prevents Dingo from standing back up.
Dingo is not content to let Kenny control the position.
Dingo looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dingo wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dingo holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Dingo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dingo lands a jab-cross combination.
Kenny fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dingo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kenny works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dingo tries to land a body kick
and Kenny makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dingo really felt that one!
Kenny wants to clinch.
Dingo wants to clinch but Kenny slips to the side

and Kenny counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dingo's guard now.
Dingo managing to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dingo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kenny is one step ahead there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dingo kicks Kenny off and gets to his feet.

Kenny circles away from the clinch attempt

and Kenny counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kenny.
Kenny trying to control the position from guard on top but Dingo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dingo looking for a sweep. Not yet Dingo, not yet.
Kenny working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dingo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dingo wants to get back to his feet but Kenny is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dingo is looking to improve his position.
Ground and pound from Kenny.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dingo is trying to control but Kenny manages to pass to mount!

Kenny working for a guillotine from mount but Dingo is in no mood to give up.
Kenny has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dingo's face.
Kenny wants to control the pace but Dingo is squirming around nicely.
Dingo tries to hold on but Kenny pushes him away.
Kenny lands a big elbow.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kenny with good strikes from the mount here!
Kenny tries to control but Dingo wriggling away.
Kenny avoids the attempt from Dingo to control.

Kenny goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dingo is on top in guard.
Dingo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Kenny dodges the punch combination from Dingo.
A left and a right from Dingo both land. Nice combination.
Kenny shoots in for a takedown but Dingo shows good takedown defense.
Dingo blocks a low kick nicely.
Kenny looks for a takedown but Dingo sprawls well.
Kenny fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kenny takes one to the side of the head.
Kenny shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glenn Kenny. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dingo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kenny moves in looking to clinch but Dingo pushes him off.
Kenny shoots and misses
and Dingo counters with a body kick that stops Kenny in his tracks momentarily.
Dingo throws a right hand that Kenny ducks under and follows up with a left that Kenny also avoids with ease.
A nice combination there by Dingo.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dingo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kenny doesn't seem bothered though.
Dingo misses with a few strikes there.
Kenny throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dingo.
Dingo throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kenny counters with a big head kick but Dingo shrugs it off.
Kenny takes one to the chin there.

Dingo tries to clinch
and Kenny counters with a left to the body.
Kenny is looking to slow Dingo down with leg kicks.

Kenny darts in and clinches Dingo up against the cage.

Kenny manages to break the clinch.
Dingo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kenny counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kenny is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dingo.
Glenn Kenny is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dingo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kenny moves into the clinch.
Kenny has Dingo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dingo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Kenny unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dingo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Kenny tries for a takedown but Dingo manages to get underhooks.

Kenny breaks from the clinch.
Dingo throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kenny counters with a single leg into guard. Dingo didn't expect that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kenny slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dingo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dingo wants to stand but Kenny is controlling the position.

Kenny passes into half guard.
Dingo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Glenn Kenny overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dingo working for a triangle but Kenny defends it easily.
Dingo wants to get back to his feet but Kenny passes into half guard.

Dingo regains full guard. Nicely done.

Dingo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kenny off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Dingo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kenny moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kenny fails with the takedown.

Dingo closes the distance and clinches.

Kenny pulls Dingo into guard.

Kenny scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kenny decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kenny trying to control from half guard but Dingo is working away.

Kenny decides to stand and escape the position.

Dingo gets caught flat footed, as Kenny shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kenny controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dingo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kenny gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that's the end of the fight!
Glenn Kenny showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kenny has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
