Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sem De Jong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sem De Jong! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Jong moves into range and clinches up with Gracie. De Jong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Jong misses with a head kick.
De Jong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard. De Jong performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Jong wants to take a breather but Gracie is having none of it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sem De Jong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. De Jong darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. De Jong controlling the action here. Gracie wants to control but De Jong is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. De Jong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. De Jong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. De Jong's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Jong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sem De Jong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Jong circles away. De Jong clinches up against the cage. De Jong manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Gracie can't get the takedown.
De Jong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Jong throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by De Jong. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but De Jong avoids it really well and circles away. Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
De Jong closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gracie's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from De Jong. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sem De Jong dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
De Jong scores a takedown into full mount! De Jong misses with a head shot. Gracie has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of De Jong's lack of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. De Jong seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
De Jong decides to stand up. Gracie looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. De Jong trying to control the position.
De Jong tries to land a sweep but no joy. De Jong controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. De Jong being controlled here, momentarily. Sem De Jong has got the better of the ground game so far.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sem De Jong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. De Jong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. De Jong is trying to get an arm triangle but Gracie is defending well. The strikes coming from De Jong are missing the target in this wave of attacks. De Jong is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Jong swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into De Jong's guard. De Jong managing to control the position. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but De Jong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Jong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gracie is controlling him. De Jong tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. De Jong is keeping the position for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. De Jong clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Jong gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gracie regains guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sem De Jong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
De Jong moves into the clinch. Gracie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. De Jong gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. De Jong has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gracie uses from the top position. Gracie preventing the sweep. De Jong trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Gracie trying to control but De Jong is working from the bottom. De Jong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gracie is aware though and is defending well. De Jong is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. De Jong looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Jong thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but De Jong is retaining full guard. De Jong seems keen to control Gracie's posture. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. De Jong wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gracie manages to pass to side control. De Jong has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Gracie escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Gracie! Gracie wants to control but De Jong is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Jong avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gracie. Gracie stands up and beckons De Jong to his feet. Gracie misses with a looping right.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie gets caught napping as De Jong dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard. De Jong looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Gracie keeping moving, preventing De Jong from controlling successfully.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sem De Jong wasn't active enough on the ground. De Jong gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Jong lands a nice elbow. Royce Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. De Jong avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. De Jong breaks from the clinch.
Sem De Jong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Jong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. De Jong content to control rather than advance. De Jong throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely. Sem De Jong is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Jong stands up and beckons Gracie to join him on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Sem De Jong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well De Jong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
