Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raul Negrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Luppino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luppino has chosen Soulja Boy Tell`em - Turn My Swag On as his entrance music. Tony Luppino will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raul Negrete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Luppino! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luppino tries a head kick but it misses.
Negrete steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Luppino. Luppino throws a head kick but Negrete moves out of range.
Negrete really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Negrete fails with the takedown. Luppino darts in and clinches Negrete up against the cage. Negrete wants a takedown.
Negrete avoiding damage as Luppino throws knees to the body.
Luppino misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Negrete.
Luppino lands a knee to the body.
Negrete decides to pull guard. Luppino stands and steps away. Negrete gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Negrete shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Luppino but Luppino pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Negrete. That's going to take a lot out of him. Luppino throws a head kick but Negrete moves out of range.
Luppino misses with a takedown and Negrete counters with a nice double leg into side control. Luppino won't be happy with that. Negrete is breathing heavily. Negrete misses with the ground and pound. Luppino is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Negrete is working Luppino over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Negrete is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Luppino knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Negrete tries to score with some ground and pound. Luppino controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Luppino struggling a bit here. Negrete trying to control the position but Luppino is working away. Luppino can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Luppino tries for a takedown but Negrete circles away easily and Negrete holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Luppino prevents the takedown attempt.
Luppino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Negrete closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Luppino to the mat! Luppino manages to get full guard. Negrete wants to pass the guard but Luppino is keeping the position. Luppino is trying to control the position but Negrete postures up. Negrete stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luppino swivels though and keeps the full guard. Negrete is looking to work some ground and pound but Luppino has wrist control. Luppino is pulling down on Negrete's head. It's preventing any offense from Negrete, at least for the moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Negrete lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Negrete pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Luppino is keeping the position for now. Luppino wants to sweep but no luck.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Negrete closes the distance and clinches up with Luppino, looking for a takedown. Negrete pushes Luppino against the cage but Luppino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tony Luppino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Negrete changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luppino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Luppino is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Negrete's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Luppino wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Luppino blocking the ground and pound attempt from Negrete. Luppino regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Negrete. Negrete trying to control the position from guard on top but Luppino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Luppino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luppino is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Luppino is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Luppino looking to control but Negrete is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Luppino stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Luppino tries to clinch but fails miserably and Negrete counters with a shoot takedown. Luppino fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Luppino manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Raul Negrete dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Negrete misses with a takedown attempt - Luppino sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Negrete. Luppino tries to improve position but can't. Negrete looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Luppino is avoiding damage well.
Luppino wants to control but Negrete postures up. Luppino is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Luppino defending against the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luppino is trying to get back to half guard. Luppino can't do much from the bottom here. Raul Negrete overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Negrete shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Negrete looking to pass the guard. Luppino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Negrete doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Negrete manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Negrete thows a big elbow that misses. Luppino controlling the position. Negrete looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Negrete working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Luppino uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Luppino lands a high kick to the side of Negrete's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Luppino dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Raul Negrete has been cut. Negrete looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Luppino puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Oh Negrete is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Negrete wants to improve his position but Luppino is controlling well.
Negrete seems to have got his legs back now. Negrete is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Luppino jumps into side control! Negrete is looking for a sweep. Negrete regains half guard. Negrete trying to control but Luppino postures up.
Negrete moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Negrete lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Luppino! Luppino wants to hold on but Negrete pushes him away. Negrete throws a wild left hand from mount and Luppino manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Luppino wants to get back to his feet.
Luppino tries to roll over but Negrete keeps him under control. The fighters are battling for position here. Luppino manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Luppino has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Negrete can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Negrete trying to control the position from guard on top but Luppino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Negrete throws a strike but Luppino rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Luppino trying to control the position from guard on top but Negrete is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Luppino might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Negrete kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Luppino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Raul Negrete's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Negrete shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Luppino as he avoids it easily. Negrete shoots in and drives through. Luppino sprawls well. Luppino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Luppino closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Luppino is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Luppino has Negrete pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Negrete manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Luppino stops a takedown attempt from Negrete.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Negrete. That's going to take a lot out of him. Negrete looking for a takedown. Negrete tries for a takedown but Luppino manages to get underhooks.
Luppino misses with a knee to the head. Negrete has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Luppino uses from the top position. Negrete throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Luppino looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Luppino wants to control the pace but Negrete is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Negrete has given up his back. Will we see Luppino going for some submissions?

Luppino regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Negrete. Negrete won't allow Luppino to get back to his feet. Negrete throwing strikes but missing. Negrete forces his way into half guard. Negrete wants to free his trapped foot but Luppino is holding on for dear life with his legs. Negrete not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tony Luppino. I think Luppino has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
