Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Hamsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Johnson ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marek Hamsa! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hamsa.
Hamsa looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well. Hamsa stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson . Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hamsa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Johnson gets a double leg takedown into Hamsa's guard. Johnson stopping the sweep attempt from Hamsa. Hamsa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well. Hamsa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hamsa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson 's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Johnson chips away with some ground and pound. Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Hamsa is retaining full guard. Hamsa keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hamsa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Johnson postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Hamsa is retaining full guard. Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Hamsa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hamsa keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. Hamsa manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Johnson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hamsa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Johnson is looking to defend but Hamsa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Johnson ! Hamsa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Johnson taps out and this one is all over!
