Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Baine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Baine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Show Goes On. Tyson Duff told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Baine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Duff! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Duff does no damage. Baine fails with the takedown. Duff displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Baine. Baine misses with a takedown attempt - Duff sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matthew Baine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baine closes the distance and clinches up with Duff, looking for a takedown. Baine pushes Duff against the cage but Duff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Baine with a lazy takedown attempt and Duff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Baine dodges the punch combination from Duff.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Duff swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Baine counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Baine. Baine seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Baine advances to half guard. Duff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baine seems to be working for a kimura but Duff defends the submission attempt.
Baine is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baine is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Duff defends it well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Baine wants to take a breather but Duff is having none of it.
Baine seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Duff is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Matthew Baine! Our winner, Matthew Baine, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
