Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Montoya connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused aa some visible discomfort.

Montoya wants to lay and pray for a moment but aa keeps working.
Montoya takes a little break here. aa wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Montoya wants to control but aa is keeping him busy.
Montoya is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. aa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Montoya lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear aa down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Montoya creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montoya works to advance to full mount. aa defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
aa defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Montoya.
aa is trying to escape the mount.
Montoya is going oldschool here, as he tries to force aa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so aa shrugs it off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Montoya postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked aa badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Montoya around the waist but Montoya pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Montoya is the winner by TKO! Montoya jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Levi Montoya!
