Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between JJ Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Wallaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallaby is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Europe - The Final Countdown. Doug Wallaby has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with JJ Jung's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JJ Jung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Doug Wallaby! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jung looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jung feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jung drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wallaby dives on top into guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jung throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wallaby is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wallaby tries to stand but Jung is controlling from the bottom. Jung might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jung working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Wallaby has passed into half guard!

Wallaby slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Jung. Jung moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jung is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jung tries to pass to full mount but Wallaby defends it. Jung is controlling the pace.
Jung decides to stand up. Jung fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jung shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wallaby as he avoids it easily.

Doug Wallaby is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wallaby lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jung at a distance.
Wallaby will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wallaby stuffs the takedown attempt from Jung. Jung gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Jung. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallaby scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jung doesn't seem bothered though. Doug Wallaby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallaby cracks Jung with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wallaby swinging wilding here.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung scores with a takedown into Wallaby's guard. Wallaby is breathing heavily. Wallaby is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wallaby has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wallaby! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jung prevents Wallaby from getting back to his feet. Jung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallaby swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jung drops back looking for a leg! Wallaby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wallaby manages to kick Jung off! The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wallaby fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wallaby tries to bum rush Jung with a series of wild strikes but Jung uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jung plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Jung shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallaby sprawls well. He's pushed Jung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Wallaby manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wallaby crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jung - the referee stops the clock and Wallaby gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jung. Wallaby manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Wallaby throws a shot from downtown. Jung moves away and avoids it. Wallaby stuffs the takedown attempt from Jung. Jung gets slowly back to his feet.
