The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a series of punches but Ramos avoids them all with ease.
Ramos misses with a body kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramos.
King shoots in and drives through. Ramos sprawls well.
No luck for Ramos with that takedown attempt.
Ramos shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Ramos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramos as he jumps to the side.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.

King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ramos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ramos wants it to stay on the feet.
Rex Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ramos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.

King throws a combination. Ramos tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
King stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramos. Ramos gets slowly back to his feet.

King fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ramos to the ground. King is now in Ramos's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
King wants to get up but he can't break Ramos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ramos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.

Ramos has his feet on King's thighs here. He's pushed King off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! King screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
