Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Numa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Ermey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Numa's entrance music is Ladies and Gentlemen. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiji Numa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Ermey!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ermey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Numa defends it nicely.
Keiji Numa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ermey slaps away a takedown attempt from Numa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ermey gets tackled into the cage by Numa. Numa maintains the clinch.
Ermey manages to break the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Numa. That's going to slow Ermey down.
Ermey checks a leg kick.
Ermey shoots for a double leg takedown but Numa sprawls well. He's pushed Ermey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ermey fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Keiji Numa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Ermey.
Ermey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Numa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ermey throws a lazy right hand but Numa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Numa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Numa looks for the body kick but Ermey saw that one coming.
An inside leg kick from Numa misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ermey tries to clinch up but Numa circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ermey is defended easily by Numa.
Ermey shoots in but Numa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Numa misses with a head kick.
Numa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ermey.
Numa connects with a crisp jab.
No luck for Ermey with that takedown attempt.
Ermey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Numa.
Numa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ermey tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Numa is in Ermey's guard.
Numa drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ermey dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Numa is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ermey rolls with it to try and escape but Numa cranks on the arm and Ermey is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Keiji Numa!
After the fight, Keiji Numa was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
