Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vitorio Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vegeta Sayajin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. On his way into the cage it seems that Vitorio Souza has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vitorio Souza seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitorio Souza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vegeta Sayajin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sayajin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sayajin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Souza is breathing heavily. Sayajin tries to control but Souza wriggling away. Sayajin tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Souza is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sayajin is looking to stand but Sayajin has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Sayajin looking to control but Souza is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sayajin wants to get back to his feet but Souza is holding on tight.
The referee warns Souza that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sayajin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Souza can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Sayajin raining down hammerfists from mount. Sayajin looking to control and managing it successfully. Sayajin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Souza is looking to escape. Sayajin putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Sayajin has control of Souza's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Souza regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sayajin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Souza kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Souza is working hard here to advance position. Sayajin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sayajin avoids the attempt from Souza to control. Sayajin controlling from the full mount. Sayajin scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Souza?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Souza is in a horrible position here. Sayajin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sayajin takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Sayajin is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Souza trying to control the hands but Sayajin won't let him. Sayajin working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vegeta Sayajin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sayajin forces Souza back against the cage and clinches. Sayajin tightens his grip and picks Souza up, before dumping him to the ground. Souza manages to land in guard. Souza has his foot on Sayajin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sayajin works his way back into a safe position though. Sayajin tries to free his leg and advance position but Souza is retaining full guard. Sayajin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sayajin trying to control the position from guard on top but Souza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Souza tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sayajin advances to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sayajin is keen to just control but Souza is a slippery customer. Souza has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sayajin is working away from the top position though. Souza is trying to get back to full guard. Sayajin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Souza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sayajin is thwarting Souza's attempts to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sayajin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Souza's guard. Sayajin trying to control the position from guard on top but Souza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Souza has momentary wrist control but Sayajin slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Souza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sayajin content to stall in guard here. Sayajin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sayajin wants to control from the top but Souza keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sayajin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Vegeta Sayajin. Sayajin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sayajin stalling away here and it's allowed Souza to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Souza is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sayajin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Souza's body to avoid the submission. Souza has instead reached around Sayajin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Souza arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Vitorio Souza!
