Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Steller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sad Sak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sad Sak will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Steller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sad Sak!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sak is fending him off so far but Steller persists. Nope, Sak circles away and we're back to standing.
Sak displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steller.
Steller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sak swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Steller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sak has a takedown stuffed.

Sak gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steller to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Steller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sak tries to strike from the bottom.
Sak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sak trying to keep a closed guard but Steller is proving a slippery customer.
Sak avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sak can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Steller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sak is trying to control the position but Steller postures up.
Sak preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Steller is looking to work some ground and pound but Sak has wrist control.
Steller stands up over Sak, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Steller trying to control the position from guard on top but Sak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Steller postures up in Sak's guard and throws a big left but Sak blocks it.
Sak wants to sweep but no luck.

Steller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Steller distracts Sak with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Steller's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sak is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Sak tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Steller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Steller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Steller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sak throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Sak takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Sak is looking to reverse the position.
Steller looks up at the clock and then as Sak takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Steller smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Steller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Steller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Steller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sak taking punishment in the form of punches.
Sak is looking for a sweep.
Steller blocks the strikes from Sak.
Steller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Steller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steller lands a nice forearm strike.


Sak is rocked!
Sak sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Sak is still in real trouble! Can Steller finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are battling for position here. Sak manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Sak seems to have recovered his senses.
Steller lands a couple of digs.
Sak has Steller pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mac Steller dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Steller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Sak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Steller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Steller throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Steller is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Steller gets back to full guard.
Steller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sak manages to get himself to full guard.

Steller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sak tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sak has momentary wrist control but Steller slips an elbow through the middle.

Steller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Steller works over Sak with some ground and pound from guard.
Steller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Sak is controlling Steller's posture.
Sak avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sak looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Steller throws a strike but Sak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Steller has his foot on Sak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sak works his way back into a safe position though.
Steller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Steller is striking from the bottom but Sak uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Steller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sak's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sak's back!
Steller controlling well, preventing Sak from escaping the position.
Steller looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Sak tries to escape but Steller has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Steller cracks Sak with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Sak from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
You can see the frustration on Sak's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Sak is trapped and Steller is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Steller lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Sak hold on?!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Steller is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Steller is landing with strikes. Sak can't take much more of this.
A helpless look comes across Sak 's face. He knows he's trapped as Steller lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Steller!
