Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Angel Castile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haiki Masatupo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haiki Masatupo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castile misses with a low kick.
No luck for Masatupo with that takedown attempt.
Masatupo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Castile swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Castile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Castile throws a sloppy head kick and Masatupo moves out of range easily.
Castile lands a nice leg kick that just misses Masatupo's sensitive parts.
Masatupo looks for a takedown but Castile sprawls well.
Castile tries to clinch there but Masatupo circles away.
Masatupo has a takedown stuffed.
Angel Castile has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haiki Masatupo.
Masatupo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Castile as he avoids it easily.

Castile jabs Masatupo right on the nose. Masatupo blinks but takes it well.

Masatupo stands and steps away. Castile gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Castile walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Masatupo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Masatupo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Castile's efforts to push away.

Castile misses with some punches.
Come on Castile - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Castile.
Castile is trying to force a seperation but Masatupo has the dominant position.
Castile blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Masatupo tries to land a knee to the head but Castile blocks with his arms.

Castile misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Masatupo.

Castile looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Castile is trying to maintain a safe position but Masatupo gets an underhook and turns Castile into the cage.
Masatupo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Castile has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Castile pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Castile misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Castile throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Masatupo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Castile leaves Masatupo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Masatupo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castile as he jumps to the side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice takedown defense from Castile. No joy for Masatupo on that attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Castile throws a leg kick that misses.
Castile tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Masatupo was well out of range. Poor timing from Castile.
Masatupo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Castile misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Castile displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Masatupo.
Castile tries to bum rush Masatupo with a series of wild strikes but Masatupo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Castile lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masatupo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masatupo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Masatupo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Castile's guard now.
Masatupo wants to control from the top but Castile keeps moving.
Masatupo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Castile looking for a sweep. Not yet Castile, not yet.
Masatupo trying to control but Castile is working from the bottom.
Masatupo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Castile looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Castile looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Castile!
Masatupo pushes Castile away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Castile gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Castile wants to control but Masatupo is keeping him busy.
Masatupo regains half guard.
Castile is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Masatupo reverses the position - he's now on top in Castile's guard.
Castile trying to keep a closed guard but Masatupo is proving a slippery customer.
Castile wants to improve his position but instead Masatupo has moved into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Masatupo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Castile wants to get back to full guard.
Masatupo is looking for a kimura but Castile is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Masatupo to get the leverage.
Masatupo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Castile!
Castile keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Castile is bucking up trying to escape but Masatupo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Masatupo stands up from mount. Strange move.

Masatupo checks the leg kick.
The fighters circle, before Castile throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Masatupo's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Castile lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
