Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Star Fruit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudolph Kraus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fruit tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Kraus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

and Kraus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kraus won't allow Fruit to get back to his feet.

Kraus gets to his feet - Fruit follows without any prompting.

and Kraus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kraus.
Kraus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rudolph Kraus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fruit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kraus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fruit tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kraus paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kraus shoots in and gets a takedown into Fruit's guard.

Kraus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fruit on his heels. He'll look to pass Fruit's guard now, I'm sure.

Kraus chips away with some ground and pound.
Kraus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rudolph Kraus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Fruit moves to clinch but Kraus breaks away
and Kraus counters with a series of strikes. Fruit will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Kraus counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kraus.

Kraus pulls Fruit into guard.
Kraus is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Fruit trying to control but Kraus is working from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kraus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fruit is one step ahead there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kraus clinches.

Fruit throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kraus leaning against his opponent.
Kraus tries to pull guard but Fruit holds him up against the cage and eventually Kraus drops back down to his feet.

Kraus manages to pull guard.

Kraus wriggles free and stands up.
Fruit is looking to clinch.
Fruit closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Fruit lands a big head kick that sends Kraus tumbling to the mat! Fruit takes a step backwards and waves Kraus back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kraus is rocked!

It looks like Rudolph Kraus has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kraus tries for a takedown but Fruit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kraus is still on wobbly legs! Can Fruit finish him?
Kraus is breathing heavily.
Fruit is looking to clinch but Kraus is avoiding it.

Fruit gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Fruit misses with a knee to the head.
Kraus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fruit walks away with a smile on his face. Kraus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Star Fruit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudolph Kraus.

Fruit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kraus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kraus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fruit moves in looking to clinch but Kraus pushes him off.

Kraus loses concentration momentarily and Fruit pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Kraus crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Fruit finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
