Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viper Trait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vega comes to the cage accompanied by Gravitational Lensing - Solution .45. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrey Vega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Viper Trait!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega darts in and clinches Trait up against the cage.
Vega goes for a takedown attempt but Trait pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Vega wants to clinch up but Trait keeps it at a distance.
Trait clinches up against the cage.
Trait successfully pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Vega trying to control the position from guard on top but Trait is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vega preventing the sweep.
Trait wants to stand and escape but Vega is having none of it.
Vega scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Trait has his foot on Vega's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vega works his way back into a safe position though.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Trait holds on and takes a little breather.

Vega trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Vega wants to pass the guard but Trait is keeping the position.
Vega has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vega cracks Trait with a solid left hand.
Trait avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Trait trying to keep a closed guard but Vega is proving a slippery customer.
Vega drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Vega seems to have locked his on tight now - Trait screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Vega, as he picks up the win!
