Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Finley Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Bidda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart wants to clinch
and Bidda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stewart shoots in looking for a takedown. Bidda tries to sprawl out of it but Stewart keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bidda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stewart tries to clinch up but Bidda circles away and keeps his distance.
Stewart is looking to clinch but Bidda is avoiding it.
Finley Stewart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Stewart!
It looks like Mickey Bidda has been cut.
Stewart shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bidda sprawls well. Bidda wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stewart gets slowly back to his feet.

Stewart tries to land a front kick but Bidda steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bidda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stewart.
Bidda throws a head kick but Stewart moves out of range.
Stewart shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stewart showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stewart tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bidda controls his leg.

Bidda is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stewart passes to full mount!
Bidda is trying to stand but he's just given Stewart his back.

No joy there for Bidda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stewart tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bidda swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stewart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Stewart is looking to take a break and control but Bidda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stewart fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bidda to the ground. Stewart is now in Bidda's guard.
Stewart wants to pass the guard but Bidda is keeping the position.
Stewart wants to stand and escape but instead Bidda has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bidda is breathing heavily.
Bidda postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stewart wants to control but Bidda passes easily into half guard.
Bidda is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stewart is just riding it out for now. Bidda eventually gives up the hold.
Stewart is trying to stand up here but Bidda is controlling him well.
Bidda is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Stewart manages to get to full guard.
Stewart is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Stewart is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bidda gets to his feet. Stewart looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Stewart doesn't manage to clinch there - Bidda circles away.
Stewart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bidda but Bidda pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Stewart takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Stewart is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bidda is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Stewart content just to control the position here.
Bidda reaches up to try and control the position but Stewart seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bidda rolls and tries to escape and now Stewart has his back!
Bidda takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stewart throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Bidda!
Bidda tries to break free.
Stewart really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bidda.
Stewart patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Stewart working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bidda is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Stewart has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bidda taps out!
