Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Takaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ness Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takaya comes to the cage accompanied by Jimi Hendrix - All along the Watchtower. Webster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cinderella Man. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster slips under a jab.
Webster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Takaya's half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Webster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Webster is thwarting Takaya's attempts to control the position.
Webster stops Takaya from getting back to his feet.
Takaya wants to control but Webster is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Takaya regains full guard. Nicely done.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Webster winds up and cracks Takaya with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Webster scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Takaya is looking to control Webster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Takaya avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Webster is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Takaya has managed to free his arm - good work.
Takaya gets full guard.
Webster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takaya swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Webster is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Webster missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Takaya is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Webster frees his head nicely. Oh but Takaya has switched to an armbar! Webster is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
