7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kobe Magellan! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magellan misses with a jab to the body
and Kobayashi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Magellan takes a kick to the side of the head. Magellan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magellan thumps Kobayashi with a low kick. Magellan dips to his left and cracks Kobayashi with an uppercut!
It looks like Kazuki Kobayashi has been cut. Magellan throws a half hearted mid kick. Magellan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Magellan tries a head kick but it misses.
Kobayashi ducks under a wild hook from Magellan. Kobayashi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kobayashi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Magellan tries to work over Kobayashi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Magellan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kobayashi creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magellan can't find room to land a body shot as Kobayashi controls the action.
Kobayashi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Magellan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Magellan can't break the clinch.
Kobayashi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Magellan blocks it with crossed arms. Kobayashi throws an elbow but it misses.
Magellan scores with a nice hook to the head. Kobayashi throws a knee to the head but misses.
A short right from Magellan. Magellan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kobayashi's elbow. Kobayashi throws an elbow but it misses.

Magellan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kobayashi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Magellan's brow. Magellan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kobayashi putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Magellan in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Magellan throws a combination that misses and Kobayashi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Magellan thows a body shot but no joy. Kobayashi misses with a head kick.
Kobayashi staying out of range there. Kobayashi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Crunch! Kobayashi slams his shin into Magellan's torso.

Magellan throws a low kick but Kobayashi moves out of range easily. Magellan throws a lazy body kick and Kobayashi counters with an inside leg kick. Magellan scores with a jab. Kobayashi acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kobayashi tries to bum rush Magellan with a series of wild strikes but Magellan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kobayashi ducks under a wild hook from Magellan. Kobayashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kobe Magellan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Magellan. Danga de danga de dang - Magellan scores with a four punch combination!
Kobayashi is rocked! Kobayashi wants to land a leg kick but Magellan is out of range. Oh Kobayashi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Magellan moves in close and cracks Kobayashi with a massive right hand! Kobayashi, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Magellan!
