Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugh G Rection!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rection takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hearns misses with a two punch combination.
Hearns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hearns ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rection is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hearns throws a big shot that misses.
Rection takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hearns leaves Rection with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hearns lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rection looks gassed!

It looks like Hugh G Rection has been cut.
Hearns moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hearns cracks Rection on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rection falls backwards against the cage. Hearns follows up with more strikes that drop Rection to his knees. Hearns keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rection! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hagler Hearns!
Hagler Hearns decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
