The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trenton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Trenton.
Trenton punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Trenton to score with a decent uppercut.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trenton is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Trenton circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones takes a swing at Trenton's ribcage but misses.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

A decent looking cross lands there for Trenton.
Trenton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones at a distance.
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Trenton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trenton, as that shot connected.

Trenton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jones had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Trenton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
Trenton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones takes a swing at Trenton's ribcage but misses.
Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Trenton.
Trenton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trenton is trying to control Jones's posture. Jones takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Trenton! Jones is rotating here... this could be the end... Trenton is out! Jones has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
