Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudolf Dass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sean Gracie looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudolf Dass! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Gracie does no damage. Dass closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gracie circles away. Dass rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gracie tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dass just stands there and leans against the cage. Gracie looking for a takedown. Dass gets underhooks to prevent Gracie's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dass gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dass shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dass was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dass misses with a head shot. Dass has control of Gracie's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gracie regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dass prevents Gracie from getting the reversal. Dass throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dass stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gracie prevents Dass from improving his position. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gracie trying to control from half guard but Dass is working away. Gracie prevents Dass from improving his position. Gracie is trying to control the action in half guard but Dass is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dass is pressing down on Gracie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dass working for submissions but it's allowed Gracie to get to half guard.
Gracie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Gracie prevents Dass from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie slows the pace down in half guard. Gracie wants to stand up but Dass has a hold of him and won't allow it. Dass is trying to get back to full guard. Dass is not content to let Gracie control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dass clinches. Gracie wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Gracie wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dass looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dass sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dass bucks up and tries to throw Gracie off but instead Gracie has got his back! Gracie keeps control of the position easily here as Dass tries to buck him off.
Dass looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sean Gracie will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Dass misses with an uppercut. Dass tries for a takedown but Gracie circles away easily and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dass's guard. Gracie is working Dass over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Gracie won't allow Dass to sweep him here. Dass working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Dass. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dass is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gracie advances position into side control! Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dass, who protects the arm well. Sloppy strikes there by Gracie. Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Dass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dass manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dass with the ground and pound but Gracie uses the opportunity to regain guard. Dass throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely. Dass postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gracie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dass, into his guard. Gracie stands and steps away. Dass gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dass pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch. Gracie wants to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dass drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dass tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Gracie is not content to let Dass control the position. Gracie manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dass's best efforts. The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dass working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gracie has his feet on Dass's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Gracie looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Gracie wants to control from the top but Dass keeps moving.

Gracie gets to his feet - Dass follows without any prompting. Dass misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dass looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dass throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gracie misses with a body shot.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Dass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Gracie dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Dass closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dass is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie wants to get back to his feet. Dass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gracie sneaks back into half guard. Dass is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Gracie has managed to free his arm - good work. Gracie is staying active underneath Dass, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dass is working away from the top position though. Dass has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Gracie works to full guard. Dass is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dass! Dass is trying to escape the mount.

Dass is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sean Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dass is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Dass is having none of it. Dass really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is really struggling to control Dass but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gracie working Dass over with strikes here. Dass is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dass tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dass looks a forlorn figure.
Gracie stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Gracie throws a series of punches but Dass moves out of range. Gracie shoots in and drives through. Dass sprawls well. Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dass swivels and escapes. Dass is looking to chop away at Gracie's legs. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dass throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dass tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No joy there for Dass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
