Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanu Mitzucuik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead - Deaf forever. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kanu Mitzucuik!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner takes a swing at Mitzucuik's ribcage but misses.
Mitzucuik punishes Wagner's body with a nice straight punch.
Wagner throws a lazy uppercut
and Mitzucuik counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Kanu Mitzucuik has been cut.
Wagner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mitzucuik avoids it really well and circles away.

Wagner drops his hands momentarily and Mitzucuik takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Wagner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wagner there as he acknowledges the shot.

Mitzucuik sizes up Wagner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wagner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mitzucuik.
Wagner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mitzucuik tries to avoid it but Wagner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mitzucuik to the ground. Mitzucuik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Wagner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitzucuik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wagner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wagner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kanu Mitzucuik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mitzucuik is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wagner had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Mitzucuik fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wagner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mitzucuik works on Wagner's body with a couple of short punches.
Mitzucuik lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wagner or not.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mitzucuik's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Mitzucuik lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kanu Mitzucuik dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wagner. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mitzucuik. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Mitzucuik creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wagner with a big uppercut! Wagner tries to clinch up but Mitzucuik pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wagner to the mat! Wagner covers up and Mitzucuik unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
