The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wynd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice defenses there by McPunches.
Wynd tries to close the distance and clinch up but McPunches swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wynd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McPunches.
McPunches rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wynd counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McPunches lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wynd circles away quickly and effectively.
Wynd fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wynd wants to clinch up but McPunches keeps it at a distance.

Wynd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McPunches moves away.
McPunches takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McPunches throws a half hearted mid kick.

McPunches tries to keep at a distance but Wynd has taken the fight into the clinch.

McPunches is looking to break free of the clinch but Wynd has double underhooks.

McPunches takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wynd throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McPunches takes a swing at Wynd's ribcage but misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McPunches fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wynd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Wynd connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McPunches looks to score with a jab to the body but Wynd is just out of range.
McPunches throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Wynd counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

McPunches is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wynd rather than just go for the knockout.
