Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruki Pushki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruki Pushki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Pushki. That snapped Jones's head back.
Jones tries to bum rush Pushki with a series of wild strikes but Pushki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pushki shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Pushki finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Pushki is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Pushki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Pushki works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Jones pushes Pushki off but Pushki dives into side control.

Pushki swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pushki's guard.

Pushki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Pushki up and slammed him! Pushki can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control!

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Pushki get back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Pushki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Pushki keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones clobbers Pushki with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pushki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Pushki circles away.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pushki jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pushki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Pushki passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones!
You get the feeling that Jones really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Pushki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jones to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jones shrugs it off.

Pushki goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Pushki's guard.

Pushki is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones throws a series of punches but Pushki avoids them all with ease.
Pushki jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones ducks under a wild hook from Pushki.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Pushki pushes him off.
Pushki throws a leg kick but Jones checks it.
Pushki avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Pushki is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pushki misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Jones wants to clinch but Pushki slips to the side
and Pushki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Pushki.

Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pushki just stands there and leans against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Jones gets control of Pushki's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Pushki is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Pushki has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pushki moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jones has worked his arm free - good work by Jones!

Pushki swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pushki's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pushki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pushki has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Pushki is looking to sweep but instead, Jones has passed into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones is nestled in close to Pushki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ruki Pushki dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Pushki counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Pushki is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.

I would just about give that final round to Jon Jones.
I think Pushki has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Ruki Pushki misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
