And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groove stalks Ilves and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ilves's face. Ilves staggers backwards, shaken.
Ilves thows a body shot but no joy.
Groove gets a clinch.
Groove really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Groove wants to break free but Ilves has control.
Groove manages to break the clinch.
Ilves throws a sloppy head kick and Groove moves out of range easily.
Ilves misses with a double jab
and Groove counters with a left and a right that stings Ilves.
Ilves shoots in for a takedown but Groove shows good takedown defense.
Ilves swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Groove counters with a two punch combo.
Ilves dodges the punch combination from Groove.
Groove goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ilves throws a sloppy head kick and Groove moves out of range easily.
Ilves has a takedown stuffed.
Ilves scores with a sloppy right hand. Groove should have avoided that one.
Groove takes the fight into the clinch.
Groove breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Groove blocks a head kick by Ilves.
Groove fails to land with a series of punches.
Ilves tries to clinch but Groove is having none of it.
Ilves looks gassed!
No luck for Ilves with that takedown attempt.
Kendall Groove has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juhani Ilves.
Groove throws out a powerful jab.

Ilves is rocked!
Groove drops Ilves with a right and a left! Groove comes rushing in but Ilves regains his composure and manages to keep Groove in guard.
Ilves is still in real trouble! Can Groove finish him?

Groove gets to his feet - Ilves follows without any prompting.
A clash of legs there as Groove blocks the low kick.
Ilves takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ilves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Groove counters with a body kick.
Groove fails to land with a series of punches.
Groove moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ilves shoots in looking for a takedown. Groove tries to sprawl out of it but Ilves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Groove manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Groove throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ilves's head.
Groove is working the combinations to good effect here.
Ilves throws a head kick that misses.
Ilves avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ilves seems to have recovered his senses.
Oooh a lovely combination from Ilves sends Groove down but not out. Ilves dives into side control looking to finish.
Groove is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big shot lands for Ilves! That's hurt Groove! Will he recover? Ilves fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
