Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Phil Deimon! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho avoids the head kick by Deimon.
A punch combination from Ho misses. Ho throws the left hand but Deimon avoids the punch easily. Deimon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ho manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ho moves out of range as Deimon throws a body kick.
Ho closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Deimon's guard. Ho loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Deimon looking to control but Ho passes into half guard.
Ho not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ho not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ho prevents Deimon from standing back up.
Ho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Deimon wants to get back to full guard. Deimon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ho thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Deimon with the active half guard here but Ho passes nicely into side control. Deimon looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Deimon parries the strikes from Ho easily there. Ho is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Deimon to escape.
Ho advances to mount. Ho prevents Deimon from getting the reversal. Deimon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Ho. Ho landing punches. Ho prevents Deimon from getting the reversal. Ho thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Deimon is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ho landing shots from mount. Deimon is still in real trouble! Can Ho finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Deimon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ho land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ho stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Ho! An out of breath Noah Ho thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
