Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Phil Deimon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silas Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. She Ain't You by: Chris Brown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins falls off balance throwing a combination
and Deimon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hopkins's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Deimon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hopkins is just riding it out for now. Deimon eventually gives up the hold.

Hopkins is looking to control Deimon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hopkins avoid being mounted?
Deimon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Deimon is stalling here. Hopkins is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Deimon seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hopkins has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
