Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daley Borisov! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ho is defended easily by Borisov. Borisov lands with a straight right. Ho didn't see that one coming. Borisov tries to bum rush Ho with a series of wild strikes but Ho uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ho tries for a takedown but Borisov circles away easily and Borisov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Borisov throws a right hand that misses
and Ho counters with a stiff right hand. Borisov throws a lazy right hand but Ho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Borisov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ho was well out of range. Poor timing from Borisov. Ho looks to land a right hand but Borisov moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borisov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ho. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Ho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Borisov throws a shot from downtown. Ho moves away and avoids it. Ho bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Borisov misses the jab. Ho moves away from the strike by Borisov. Ho throws the left hand but Borisov avoids the punch easily. A nice combination there by Borisov.
Ho missing with a left hand there. Borisov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ho throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Borisov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ho.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Borisov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ho jabbing away but nothing is landing. Daley Borisov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Borisov looks to throw the jab but Ho is out of range. Sloppy strikes from Borisov. Those never looked like landing. A jab from Borisov finds it's way through Ho's defenses. Borisov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Borisov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. No joy there for Borisov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ho tries for a takedown but Borisov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Borisov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ho moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Borisov looks to land a left hand but Ho moved out of range nicely. Ho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A decent looking cross lands there for Borisov. Ho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Borisov as he avoids it easily. Ho's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Borisov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ho scrambles back to his feet. Ho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Borisov. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ho.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice shot by Borisov. Ho throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ho throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Borisov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ho swinging wildly here.
Ho throws a series of strikes that have Borisov backpedaling.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ho slips a jab and a cross from Borisov.
Ho fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daley Borisov will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Borisov scores with a one two! Ho had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The fighters circling - Ho throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ho shoots and misses and Borisov counters with a left and a right that stings Ho. Ho misses with a double jab.
Daley Borisov seems to be getting the better of the standup. Borisov misses with a straight right. Ho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ho looks to land a right hand but Borisov moved out of range. Ho throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Borisov is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Borisov to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Borisov looks to clinch but Ho throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Borisov taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
