Learmont is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pink Floyd - Darkside Of The Moon. Niko Skorpio could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Etienne Learmont's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Learmont moves into the clinch.
Skorpio blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Learmont tries to throw a body punch but Skorpio avoids it by throwing Learmont back against the cage.
Learmont misses with an elbow strike.
Skorpio lands a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Skorpio postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Skorpio keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Learmont's head.
Learmont wants to stand and escape but Skorpio is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skorpio working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Learmont's head.
Skorpio postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Learmont is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skorpio is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Skorpio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Learmont for as long as he can get away with.
Skorpio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Skorpio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Learmont swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Skorpio looking to sit in guard and control but Learmont gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Learmont has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Skorpio is proving hard to escape from.

Learmont wants to pass the guard but Skorpio is keeping the position.

Learmont wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Skorpio's closed guard. He's half up but Skorpio has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Skorpio pivots and extends the arm, Learmont falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Skorpio! Well done that man!
