Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tobias Kaputtski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon Dureon! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dureon goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Dureon moves into the clinch successfully.
Dureon has had enough of the clinch but Kaputtski keeps him there for the moment. Kaputtski blocks an elbow strike from Dureon.
Dureon misses with some punches.
Dureon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Kaputtski. Dureon lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kaputtski lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dureon backwards. Dureon has Kaputtski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kaputtski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kaputtski lands a hook to the side of the head. Dureon misses with a hook from the clinch. Kaputtski has clasped his hands together around Dureon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Dureon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dureon tries to strike but it doesn't land. Dureon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dureon wants to get back to his feet. Kaputtski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dureon on the ground. Dureon manages to get back to half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dureon clinches with his opponent.
Kaputtski jumps guard but Dureon stands there with Kaputtski around his waist. Kaputtski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kaputtski softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Dureon is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kaputtski is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dureon to the mat. Dureon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dureon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kaputtski is desperately trying to improve his position but Dureon has a good base and remains in mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dureon thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kaputtski to regain full guard. Kaputtski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dureon looking to pass the guard. Kaputtski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kaputtski tries to get out of the position. Kaputtski is working an open guard so Dureon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Kaputtski clinches but Dureon breaks the clinch and Dureon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kaputtski is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kaputtski tries to clinch and Dureon counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dureon dodges the punch combination from Kaputtski.
Kaputtski tries to close the distance and clinch but Dureon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dureon misses with a body kick. Tobias Kaputtski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kaputtski fails in his attempt to clinch. Kaputtski tries to clinch up and Dureon counters with a two punch combo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brandon Dureon will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kaputtski tries to lock up and control but Dureon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dureon wants to control the pace but Kaputtski is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dureon throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Kaputtski wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dureon.

Kaputtski stuffs the takedown. Tobias Kaputtski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dureon shoots in for a double leg but Kaputtski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kaputtski has taken the fight to the clinch.

Dureon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dureon has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kaputtski. Kaputtski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kaputtski pushes Dureon up against the cage in a clinch. Kaputtski pushes Dureon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dureon throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Kaputtski stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Dureon follows into mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dureon landing punches.
Kaputtski is rocked! Dureon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kaputtski in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kaputtski to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Dureon!
