Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Rameau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Rameau! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rameau leaves Montoya with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Montoya looks for a takedown but Rameau sprawls well. Rameau keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Albert Montoya. That's going to take a lot out of him. Montoya shoots in looking for a takedown but Rameau manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Montoya's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Montoya looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Montoya is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rameau is looking to stand up but Montoya isn't so interested in that idea. Rameau keeping moving, preventing Montoya from controlling successfully. Montoya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Montoya throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rameau works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Montoya decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rameau forces Montoya back against the cage and clinches.

Rameau trying to control but Montoya is working from the bottom. Montoya wants to stand up but Rameau is controlling him. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Montoya slips a jab from Rameau.

With the fighters up against the cage, Rameau throws an elbow but misses. Rameau tries to land a knee to the head but Montoya blocks with his arms.

Patrick Rameau showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
