Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Silva Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Like Toy Soldiers. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Williams counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Williams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Williams persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Williams keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Williams tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it.

Williams trying to work for an americana but Gracie has managed to regain full guard.

Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gracie is just content to waste time from the top position. Williams takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Williams looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gracie has picked Williams up and slammed him! Williams can't keep hold of the triangle and Gracie manages to pass to side control!
Williams wants to control but Gracie postures up.

Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Williams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gracie, up you get!
Williams looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.

Williams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
