Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Belkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Belkofer looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Belkofer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Belkofer.
Sinclair throws a head kick that misses.
Belkofer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Belkofer misses with a looping left.
Sinclair looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Belkofer misses with a low kick.
Sinclair pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sinclair attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Belkofer has managed to clinch.
Belkofer trying to control the position but instead, Sinclair has worked for underhooks and has pushed Belkofer into the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Belkofer throws an elbow but misses.

Sinclair has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Belkofer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sinclair has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Belkofer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sinclair avoids it.
Belkofer tries to land a knee to the head but Sinclair blocks with his arms.
Belkofer misses with an elbow strike.

David Belkofer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Sinclair.

Belkofer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sinclair misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Belkofer wants to clinch

Nice takedown defense from Belkofer. No joy for Sinclair on that attempt.
Belkofer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sinclair moves out of range of the body kick.

Sinclair shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sinclair winds up and cracks Belkofer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Sinclair is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Belkofer is just riding it out for now. Sinclair eventually gives up the hold.

Sinclair throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Belkofer is breathing heavily.
Sinclair throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sinclair passes to full mount!
Sinclair takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Belkofer defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sinclair.
Sinclair tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

It looks like David Belkofer has been cut.

Sinclair is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Belkofer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Belkofer shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sinclair lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


David Belkofer's cut is getting worse.

David Belkofer's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tony Sinclair dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Sinclair lands with a cross.
Some bone on bone action there as Sinclair checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
David Belkofer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Belkofer as he avoids it easily.
Good work by Sinclair as he checks the leg kick.
Belkofer lands with a kick to the temple. Sinclair shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sinclair fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Belkofer avoids it really well and circles away.
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown but Belkofer shows good takedown defense.
David Belkofer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Sinclair.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Belkofer throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Sinclair shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Belkofer but Belkofer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Belkofer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sinclair. That did some damage!
Belkofer lands a two punch combo.

Sinclair tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belkofer swivels and escapes.
Belkofer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sinclair.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sinclair in particular looking to stall.
