Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Xyfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Powers comes to the cage accompanied by ASAP Rocky - Peso. The key to victory for David Powers has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Powers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lex Xyfer! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Powers. No joy for Xyfer on that attempt. Xyfer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A left lands for Powers. Xyfer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Powers. Powers throws out a powerful jab. Powers lands a nice hook to Xyfer's body. Xyfer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Powers throws a right and a left that Xyfer avoids nicely. Powers lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Xyfer at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action! Xyfer gets the takedown into side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Xyfer landing strikes.
It looks like David Powers has been cut. Xyfer is working Powers over with some ground and pound from side control. Powers is trying to get back to half guard. Xyfer working the ground and pound from side control. Powers gets back to half guard. Xyfer thows a huge punch but Powers dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xyfer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Xyfer slips a nice elbow through Powers's hands, connecting with Powers's forehead. Xyfer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Powers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Xyfer. Powers is looking for a sweep. Xyfer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Xyfer throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Powers to regain full guard. Xyfer throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xyfer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Xyfer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Xyfer postures up in Powers's guard and throws a big left but Powers blocks it. Xyfer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Xyfer landing with the ground and pound.
David Powers's cut is getting worse. Xyfer working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
David Powers's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Powers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Xyfer defends well. Powers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Xyfer on the ground. Xyfer lands a couple of elbows.
Jeez, David Powers's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
