Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trey Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osvaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trey Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Osvaldo Silva! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coleman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Coleman moves out of range easily. Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Coleman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Coleman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Silva stuffs the takedown. Coleman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Silva thuds his shin into the meat of Coleman's side. Coleman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Silva tries to circle away but Coleman has him pinned against the cage. Silva working hard to break the clinch. Coleman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Silva tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Coleman wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Silva wants to stand but Coleman is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coleman misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Silva is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Coleman manages to get to full guard. Silva wants to stand but Coleman is controlling his posture from full guard. Coleman uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Silva looks gassed! Coleman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Coleman takes a kick to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva misses with the body kick and Coleman counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silva's knee momentarily. Coleman lands a jab to Silva's midsection. Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Coleman circles away.

Coleman pulls guard effortlessly. Coleman controlling Silva's posture. Coleman keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. This has been an exciting period of action! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coleman is on top in guard.

Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Coleman to score with a decent uppercut. Coleman clinches up against the cage. Silva misses with a knee strike.

Osvaldo Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup. Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Coleman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Silva tries to clinch there but Coleman circles away.

Coleman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Coleman throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease. Silva fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Coleman is just out of range. Silva instigates a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva tries a knee to the head but Coleman blocks it.
Coleman has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Coleman smiles and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Coleman scores with a four punch combination! Coleman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Coleman pushing down on Silva's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Silva wants to get back to his feet. Coleman is trying to work for a kimura but Silva is defending well.

Trey Coleman dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coleman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva darts in trying to clinch and Coleman counters by clinching up. Silva with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Coleman is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Coleman effectively controlling the action here. Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Coleman blocks it with crossed arms. Coleman pulls Silva into guard.
Coleman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silva! You get the feeling that Silva really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Coleman is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Silva has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Silva wants to control but Coleman is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman controlling from the full mount. Silva tries to lock up and control but Coleman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Coleman looking to ground and pound but Silva is blocking nicely. Coleman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Coleman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
