Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Noles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johan Moneymaker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Moneymaker.
Moneymaker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Noles.

Noles shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Noles controlling the action here.

Noles is looking for a kimura but Moneymaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Noles to get the leverage.
Moneymaker is pressing down on Noles's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Moneymaker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Noles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Noles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Noles wants to control from the top but Moneymaker keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moneymaker is looking for a triangle but Noles pushes his legs off easily.
Noles trying to control the position from guard on top but Moneymaker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Nick Noles has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Noles shoots in for a takedown but Moneymaker shows good takedown defense.
Moneymaker sizes up Noles with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Moneymaker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Noles tries for a takedown but Moneymaker circles away easily
and Moneymaker counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Noles! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
